Article 2: Conditions of participation
2.1 Access to the Game
The Game is available in Maje stores (branches, department store concessions, affiliates and outlets) and on the Maje websites, accessible via the following URLs:
(hereinafter the "Website").
The Game is open exclusively to natural persons who are adults and reside in France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Germany, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Sweden and Norway (the “Participants”). Persons from companies that have participated directly or indirectly in the organisation or performance of the Game and their families are excluded. The Organising Company may carry out all necessary checks in order to verify Participants’ compliance with the participation conditions. Any Participant who does not meet these conditions or refuses to justify them will be excluded from the Game and will not be eligible for the prize.
Only one entry in the Game (same name, same email address and/or postal address) is permitted. Participants who attempt to participate multiple times will be permanently excluded from the Game.
Participation in the Game implies unreserved acceptance of these rules. In the event of a discrepancy in interpretation between these rules and the commercial or presentation documents of the Game, these rules shall prevail.
2.2 Methods of participation
There are several ways in which the Participant can participate in the Game:
- The Participant may go to the store to scan the QR code at the checkout or on the shop windows;
- The Participant can scan the QR code on the billboards in the city of Paris;
- Or go directly online on the Website.
By scanning the QR code or visiting the Website directly, the Participant will have access to the page where the Game is presented, along with a description of the rules of the Game. They must complete the form, including their title, first name, last name, telephone number and e-mail address, in order to validate their entry. In the event of non-compliance with these terms of participation, the Participant's participation in the Game will be declared null and void.
Multiple entries are permitted in the sense that the Participant may play each day between 1 December 2021 and 25 December 2021.
Article 3: Prizes
3.1 Designation of Winners
Throughout the Game, the Organising Company shall draw one winner per day from all valid entries from the previous day (hereinafter the “Winner(s)”). The draw will take place on Monday for entries made on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. For example, on 2 December 2021, the Organising Body will draw a winner from the valid entries made on 1 December 2021 and on 6 December for the entries made on 3, 4 and 5 December 2021. The last draw will therefore take place on 27 December 2021.
At the end of the Game, 25 Winners will therefore have been drawn. They will be respectively informed that they have won by telephone and email within 5 days of the date on which they were drawn.
They shall each have 3 calendar days from receipt of the announcement of the win to confirm their acceptance of the prize and send the information requested by return email and/or by any other means indicated in the announcement of the win. If they have not sent their confirmation within 3 calendar days of the announcement of the win, or if they have provided incorrect information (including an invalid or inaccurate telephone number, email or postal address), they will be deemed to have waived their prize. The prize will not be allocated to them and may not under any circumstances be claimed at a later date. In the event that a computer bug causes several winning announcements to be sent to the same recipient, said recipient shall be deemed to have won the prize only once.
The Game allows 25 Participants to each win 1 of the following products from the "M anniversary" collection:
- 222MLONGFRINGES, black
- 222MPINATA, black
- 222MMINIFACEFRINGES, black
- 222MSHORTFRINGESSTUDS, black
- 121MCASE, black
The Prize will be chosen at random by the Organising Body. The Winner cannot choose the Prize they wish to receive.
If an event occurs beyond its control, particularly related to its suppliers or unforeseeable circumstances, the Organising Company may replace the announced Prize with an equivalent prize. The Winners will be kept informed of any changes as soon as possible. The Winners may not request that the Organising Company provide them with cash or another item or service, regardless of the value, in exchange for the Prize. If the Winners do not want or cannot take possession of their Prize, they will not be entitled to any compensation.
Article 4: Personal Data
The information relating to the Participants is collected and used by the Organising Company in particular in the context of the Game, the management of the Winners, the issuance of the Prize and to comply with legal and regulatory obligations. In accordance with the personal data protection regulations, Participants have a right of access, opposition, rectification and deletion of their data at any time by sending a letter to MAJE SAS, Service Clients – RGPD, 2 rue de Marengo, 75001 Paris. Participants who exercise their right of deletion before the end of the Game shall be deemed to waive their entry.
Article 5: Intellectual Property
The reproduction, representation or exploitation of all or part of the elements comprising the Game, including the terms and conditions of Game, are strictly prohibited. The trademarks, logos, texts, images, videos and other distinctive signs reproduced by the Organising Company are the exclusive property of their owners and are therefore protected by the provisions of the French Intellectual Property Code for the whole world. Any reproduction, in whole or in part, of these trademarks, logos and signs constitutes an infringement punishable by criminal penalties.
Article 6: Force majeure
The Organising Company shall not be held liable and no recourse may be brought against it if force majeure events (strikes, bad weather, pandemic, etc.) make you unable to participate in the Game and/or deprive the Winner(s) of the benefit of their Prize.
Article 7: Responsability
The liability of the Organising Company is strictly limited to the delivery of the validly won Prize. The Organising Company shall not be liable for any incidents, accidents or other inconveniences that may occur during the period of enjoyment of the Prize awarded and/or due to its use.
The Organising Company cannot be held liable, without this list being exhaustive, for:
- the transmission and/or reception of any data and/or information on the Internet;
- the malfunctioning of the Internet preventing the smooth roll-out/functioning of the Game;
- the breakdown in any receiving equipment or communication lines;

- problems with the routing of the Prize;
- the operation of any software necessary for the Game;
- the consequences of any virus, computer bug, fault or technical failure;
- any damage caused to the computer of a Participant;
- any technical, hardware or software failure of any kind preventing or limiting a Participant's ability to participate in the Game or damaging the system of a Participant.
It is specified that the Organising Company cannot be held liable for any direct or indirect damage as a result of an interruption, malfunction of any kind, suspension or termination of the Game, for any reason whatsoever, or any direct or indirect damage that would result, in any way, from a connection to the Website. It is the responsibility of all Participants to take all appropriate measures to protect their own data and/or software stored on their computer equipment against any damage. The connection of any person to the Website and their participation in the Game is under their sole responsibility.
Article 8: Fraud
The Organising Company may cancel all or part of the Game if it appears that fraud has occurred in any form whatsoever, particularly in a computerised manner in the context of participation in the Game. In this case, it reserves the right not to assign the Prize to the fraudsters.
Article 9: Disputes and applicable law
These rules are governed by French law. Any complaint must be addressed to the Customer Service Department of the Organising Company within 15 days of the end date of the Game at the following address: MAJE – Service Clients, 2 rue de Marengo, 75 001 Paris. After this date, no claim will be accepted. Except in case of manifest errors, it is agreed that the information resulting from the Organising Company's gaming systems has probative force in any dispute as to the connection elements and the computer processing of said information relating to the Game. In the event of continued disagreement concerning the application and/or interpretation of these rules, and in the absence of an amicable agreement, any dispute will be brought before the competent Court.
