Choosing lower-impact materials
At Maje, it all starts with the choice of material.Every sketch and every fabric is now assessed through a simple question: how can we create something just as beautiful while using fewer resources and generating fewer emissions?
To achieve this, Maje has identified a range of materials with a lower environmental impact, based on independent and recognised labels.
Their characteristics are incorporated right from the design phase, while strictly following Maje's exacting standards in terms of feel, drape and durability.
Since 2023, Maje no longer uses fur, exotic leather, materials from endangered species and feathers or down.
